27 Aug 2010: Swimming

Didn't need to net the bugs before we started and the water temperature was really good! :-)
2500 yards: Started out with a 475 free/25 back to warm up, then 5x 275 free/25 back, then another 475 free/25 back.
Coach Susan recommends 50 yards of backstroke. :-)

10 min on the 544, 1.5 miles on the treadmill including 0.5 miles jogging and 10 minutes on the exercise bike.
Bench press (125 lb 3x tonight), squats, dead lifts, pullovers, cable flys, shoulder press, curls, wrists and bar dips
210 lbs 20x on the Cybex Leg Press

26 Aug 2010: Week Recap

22 Aug: Monday: Cardio and weights: 10 minutes on the 544, 1.5 miles on the treadmill including 1/2 mile jogging and 10 minutes on the bike. Bench press, squats, dead lift, pullovers, cable flys, shoulder press, curls, wrists and bar dips. 205 lbs 20x on Cybex leg press.
23 Aug: Tuesday: Overdid it last night, right shoulder. Heavy rain, night off.
24 Aug: Wednesday: 2000 yards in the pool. 1625 free and 375 back. Right shoulder loosened up.
Going to the movie and the gym tonight!

Workout update

09 Aug: Monday: Cardio and Weights. The usual, 1/2 mile jog on the treadmill and 185 lbs 20x on the leg press.
10 Aug: Tue: Swimming: 1000 yards. Spent a lot of time netting the bugs
11 Aug: Wed: Night off.
12 Aug: Thu: Cardio and Weights: The usual, 1/2 mile jog on the treadmill, 95 lb bench and 190 lbs 20x on the leg press and added cable flys and bar dips.
13 Aug: Friday: Swimming: About 1500 yards
14 Aug: Saturday: Day off at the Ritz Carlton!
15 Aug: Sun. Hike around the neighborhood. 3.5 miles
16 Aug: Mon: Swimming: 1850 yards. The pool was colder, very few bugs after a heavy rain.
17 Aug: Tue: Cardio and Weights: The usual, 1/2 mile jog on the treadmill, 65 lbs squats 20x and 185 lbs 20x on the leg press. Mr. Skeeve in the gym (dark spot on his light grey sweats over his butt crack!). Susan tried the 555 Ellipse machine tonigt and liked it! Miss Anorexia in the house.

09 July 2010: Weekend Recap

Heavy duty bugs this weekend.
Saturday, 07 August. 1600 yards in the warm pool after driving home from the diamondbacks game in Phoenix. Susan caught one frog and hurled it out of the pool.
Sunday, 08 August. 1000 yards in the warm pool. I netted about a quart of bugs and put them in a pile on the pool deck.
We're looking for an indoor pool. :-)

06 Aug 2010: This Week's recap.

Saturday, 31 July: 1500 yards swimming. The frogs were having sex in the pool.
Sunday, 01 August: 1500 yards swimming. No frogs, but lots of bugs.
Monday, 02 August: Cardio and Weights. 1.5 miles on the treadmill including 0.5 mile jogging. Bench press, dead lifts, squats, pullovers, shoulder press, curls and wrists. Cybex Leg press: 20 at 180. Mr. Ellipse, Crocodile Dundee and Sue Charlton were in the room.
Tuesday: Night off! Went shopping at BBB amongst the College Students. Dinner at Lovin Spoonfuls. Saw Winter's Bone at the Loft.
Wednesday, 03 August: 1500 yards swimming. Still lots of bugs.
Thursday, 03 August: Cardio and Weights. 1.5 miles on the treadmill including 0.5 mile jogging. Bench press, dead lifts, squats, pullovers, shoulder press, curls and wrists. Cybex Leg press: 20 at 185. Mr. Ellipse, Crocodile Dundee and Sue Charlton were in the room again.
